MATT DALTON WINS AN OUT OF SORTS TRIPP POND
A vastly under par Tripp pond greeted us today, water level back up to normal but are the same quantity of fish still present? I'll let you decide... Matt Dalton led the way from fancied peg 4 with a creditable 123lb. Matt had an excellent ending on meat which catapulted him up to the top. Also on that bank Paul Bell produced the only other Ton up posting from peg 8. Paul had a steady shalla start before turning his attention to the margins last up. Alex Dalton struggled his way to third with 90lb from the building site peg 35. I think we will see a much changed Tripp pond for a few years to come now?
CHRIS BELL BEATS THE WIND ON FIRST SPRING
Winter began today on a windswept First Spring pond, im sure this factor led to the drop in weights? Leading the way was Chris Bell on peg 5, he had a few very large fish on method feeder about 20m out with wafter. The last hour arrival came on a top kit plus 1 line feeding maggots & groudbait with maggots also on the hook. Opposite side and Stephen Kirk made the most of fancied peg 22 catching mainly on a top kit plus 2 line and expander on the hook. 3rd place dropped somewhat to Matt Dalton on peg 7 who did attract a few decent skimmers in between the gusts plus carp of course...
